Digital health continues to evolve rapidly, shaped by both long-term healthcare transformation and external global forces.

Shifts in how and where healthcare is delivered are driving demand for digital infrastructure that enables coordination, access, automation, and informed decisions across the care continuum.

DNV has an active M&A strategy in digital health.

We invest in and acquire digital health companies addressing fundamental challenges related to healthcare IT and digital transformation of healthcare. These can include companies addressing:

  • Secure data-sharing within and across institutions and systems
  • Integrity of data running through healthcare providers’ digital systems
  • Operational assurance and hospital workflow management
  • Interoperability layers enabling a more efficient care delivery, research, etc.

Ideally, we target companies with a turnover of more than EUR 20 million and headquartered in Europe, but we are open to consider less mature opportunities demonstrating strong growth potential.

Investments in strategically relevant start-ups are made in collaboration with  DNV Ventures.
